Privacy Policy

Overview

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Interos Inc. dba interos.ai (“Company”, “interos.ai”, “we”, “our” or “us”) uses personal information that we process in connection with your use of this website (https://www.interos.ai) and any other website we operate that links to this Privacy Policy (collectively, our “Sites”), and all other products or services available through our Sites or otherwise offered to our customers (collectively, along with the Sites, our “Services”). If you provide us your mobile phone number, we (or our service providers) may send you text messages (SMS/MMS), including transactional and/or operational messages and, where permitted by law and based on your choices, promotional messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of disclosures described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

This Privacy Policy applies when interos.ai acts as the data controller of your information. When interos.ai collects and processes data about end users of our direct customers (“Customer End Users”) on behalf of such customers (“Customer Data”), in connection with the services we provide to customers pursuant to our agreements with such customers (each an “Agreement”), the customer is the “data controller” and interos.ai is a “data processor.” In such circumstances, interos.ai processes Customer Data under the instructions of the relevant customer, as described in the applicable Agreement. interos.ai’s obligations with respect to Customer Data are defined in such Agreement, and in the event of a conflict between that Agreement and this Privacy Policy, the Agreement controls. If you are a Customer End User and you have questions about how Customer Data is collected and processed through the services we provide to the customer, please contact the customer for more information.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to better understand how we collect, use, and disclose personal information about you as you use our Services. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will appear on this page, so we encourage you to review it periodically.

I. Personal Information We Collect

Personal Information We Collect From You

Personal information (which is also sometimes referred to as “personal data” or “personally identifiable information”) is information that directly or indirectly identifies an individual.

How We Collect Personal Information Directly From You

interos.ai collects information that you provide to us directly when you:

  • Contact us to ask a question, request more information or a demo or otherwise communicate with us;
  • Post content on our Services; or
  • Sign up to receive announcements, newsletters, or whitepapers.

We collect the following types of personal information directly from users of the Services:

  • Name;
  • Email address;
  • Phone number;
  • Mobile phone number and SMS/MMS messaging information
  • Text messaging consent/opt-in and opt-out records
  • Company;
  • Title;
  • Industry;
  • Region/Country;
  • Payment information (e.g., financial account information)
  • Any other information you choose to provide us as you interact with our Services

Information Collected Automatically

Certain information (which may include personal information) on our Service is collected automatically by means of various software tools as discussed in this section.

a) Log Files: Log files refer to the information that is automatically sent by your web browser or device (or otherwise automatically collected) each time you view or interact with our online Services. The information inside the log files may include information such as IP addresses (from which we may derive your general location information), type of browser, internet service provider, date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, clicked pages and any other information your browser may send to us.

b) Device and Online Usage: We may collect information about your computer, browser, mobile or other device that you use to access our Services. We may use cookies, pixels, log files and other techniques to collect such information, including IP address, device identifiers and other unique identifiers, browser type, browser language, operating system name and version, device name and model, version, referring and exit pages, dates and times of Service access, links clicked, features used, crash reports and session identification information.

c) Cookies: We use cookies to enable certain functionalities on the Sites and to understand how users interact with our Sites. When you visit our Sites, our servers may send a cookie to your browser and/or device. Necessary cookies help make a website usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies. Analytic cookies help website owners to understand how visitors interact with websites by collecting and reporting information anonymously. Targeting cookies allow us to better target advertisements across the Internet. Third party cookies track how you use different websites, including ours. For example, you might get a social media company’s cookie when you see the option to share something. Note that some, but not all of the information collected by cookies qualifies as personal information.

The Options/Settings section of most internet browsers will tell you how to manage cookies and other technologies that may be transferred to your device, including how to disable such technologies. You can disable certain, non-essential cookies through your browser settings, but please note that disabling cookies may impact some of our Service features and prevent the Services from operating properly.

d) Analytics Services: This Site uses Google Analytics, a Google Inc. web analysis service (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” (text files) that are stored on your computer and allow the analysis of your usage of this Site. On behalf of interos.ai, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this Site, to compile reports on website activities for interos.ai, and to perform further services linked to this Site and internet use on behalf of interos.ai. You can prevent Google’s collection of the data regarding your use of this Site generated through the cookie and its further transmission by following this link and downloading and installing the browser plug-in available there.

e) Online Advertising: We work with online advertising partners to deliver interos.ai advertisements that are more tailored to you both on our Services and on third-party Services. Our partners may also place cookies, pixel tags and similar technologies on many online services, including ours. They use these technologies to collect information about your activities on these services in order to deliver you more relevant advertising. For example, they may use the information they collect from their cookies on our Services to identify interos.ai products and services you might be interested in and to recognize your device so they can show you relevant advertisements while you are using our Services and other services.

If you are interested in more information about tailored browser advertising and how you can generally control cookies from being put on your devices to deliver tailored advertising, you may visit the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Consumer Opt-Out link to opt out of receiving tailored advertising from companies that participate in those programs.

Information Collected from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from other sources, such as business partners, marketers, researchers, analysts, social network services, and other parties to help us supplement our records. We will combine this information with the other information discussed throughout the Privacy Policy and use it for purposes permitted by this Privacy Policy.

De-identified data

We may de-identify information we collect so the information cannot reasonably identify you or your device, or we may collect information that is already in de-identified form. Our use and disclosure of de-identified information is not subject to any restrictions under this Privacy Policy, and we may use and disclose it to others for any purpose, without limitation.

II. How We Use Your Personal Information

If you submit or we collect personal information about you through our Service or otherwise, then such personal information may be used to:

  • Provide, analyze, administer, and improve the Services;
  • Provide you with additional information about our company or the Service that you request or we think might interest you;
  • Contact you in connection with the Service or notifications;
  • Send you SMS/MMS messages where you provided your mobile phone number and, where required, your consent (e.g. to deliver alerts, respond to inquiries, provide customer support, or send promotional messages consistent with your choices);
  • Send you, in accordance with applicable law, updates and promotional materials;
  • Protect our rights or our property and to ensure the technical functionality and security of the Service; and
  • Comply with applicable law, assist law enforcement, and to respond to regulatory or other legal inquiries.

Legal Bases for Processing Your Information

Some jurisdictions (such as the EU and UK) require that we inform you about the legal bases on which we rely to process your personal information. We rely on the following legal bases for processing your personal information:

  • Processing of your personal information that you provide to us when you interact with our Services is necessary to respond to or implement your request prior to entering into a contract with us.
  • We will send you marketing communications only with your consent (if and where required by applicable law) or if you otherwise opt-in to receiving those communications. If you do not provide us with your consent to the processing of your personal information for this purpose, we will not send you this information. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Our use of data relating to your use of the Services, described above, is necessary for our legitimate interests in understanding how the Services are being used by you, to improve your experience on it and our Services offerings. When we process your personal information for our legitimate interests, we make sure to consider and balance any potential impact on you, and your rights under data protection laws. Our legitimate business interests do not automatically override your interests, we will not use your personal information for activities where our interests are overridden by the impact on you, unless we have your consent or those activities are otherwise required or permitted to by law. You have the right to object to processing that is based on our legitimate interests.

III. How We Disclose Your Personal Information

We disclose the categories of information that we collect with the following categories of recipients and for the following purposes:

a) Business Partners: From time to time, we may partner with other companies to jointly offer products or services. If you purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly offered product or service from us, we may disclose information collected in connection with your purchase or expression of interest with our joint promotion partner(s). We do not control our business partners’ use of the information we collect, and their use of the information will be in accordance with their own privacy policies.

b) Service Providers: We disclose your personal information to our third-party service providers who provide services on our behalf, such as website hosting, online chat functionality, data analysis, information technology, customer service, SMS/MMS messaging and phone communication services, email delivery, online advertising, auditing, and other services. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

c) SMS/Text Messaging Disclosures: If you provide your mobile number, we may use it to communicate with you by SMS/MMS as described above. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

d) Third-Party Advertising Providers: As discussed above, we may allow our online advertising partners to assist in our online advertising and measurement activities, which will involve the collection of certain information about you. See the “Online Advertising” section above for information about how to manage these activities.

e) Affiliated Entities: We may disclose your personal information to affiliated entities under common ownership and/or control with interos.ai.

f) In the Event of Merger, Sale, Change of Control, Reorganization or Bankruptcy: As we grow and develop our business, it is possible that our corporate structure or organization might change or that we might merge or otherwise combine with, or that we or portions of our business might be acquired by, another company. In any such transactions, your information generally is, and should be expected to be, one of the transferred business assets, and may also be disclosed in connection with diligence regarding the proposed transaction. Also, if any bankruptcy, liquidation or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, your information may be considered a company asset that may be sold or transferred to third parties.

g) Other Disclosures: We may disclose information about you if we have a good faith belief that disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (ii) enforce our Terms and Conditions, including investigations of potential violations thereof; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, misuse of the Site or Services, or security issues; or (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of interos.ai, our users, or the public.

IV. Retention

We reserve the right to retain any information as long as it is needed to: (i) fulfill the purposes for which we collected the information, and (ii) comply with applicable law or for other legal, auditing or compliance purposes.

V. Data Security

We have taken a number of appropriate technical, organizational, administrative, and physical measures to ensure personal information is protected adequately and at an appropriate level. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password so that you can access certain areas of our Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of your account has been compromised), please contact us at the contact information provided below.

VI. Your Rights and Choices

We provide you with the ability to exercise certain controls and choices regarding our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information. Your legal rights to exercise such controls and choices vary based on the laws of your jurisdiction (i.e., residents of certain US states (currently including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia) and residents of the EU, UK, Canada) can exercise the following rights by contacting us at privacy@interos.ai:

  • Access to, or a copy of, your personal information
  • Confirmation that we are processing your personal information
  • Correction or amendment of your personal information
  • Deletion of your personal information
  • Transfer of your personal information to a third party, where technically feasible
  • Opt out of automated processing of personal information that has significant or other legal effects (we do not currently engage in this type of processing)
  • Restriction or objection to certain uses of your personal information

If you have provided consent for us to use your personal information for a specific purpose, you may also request to withdraw that consent.

In addition:

  • California and Oregon residents can request information about the categories of personal information we collect, disclose or sell or share about you; California residents can request the sources of such information, the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling or sharing such information; and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose such information. This information is also set forth in this Privacy Notice.
  • Oregon and Minnesota residents can request a list of the specific third parties, other than natural persons, to which we have disclosed personal information.
  • EU/UK residents can object to the processing of information and to opt out of processing for direct marketing purposes.

If you are a resident of one of the U.S. states listed above, you also have the right to opt out of our processing or “sharing” of your information for online targeted advertising purposes. Note that these laws also allow you to opt out of the “sale” of your information to third parties in exchange for valuable consideration. Our use of analytics or online advertising tools as described in the “Analytics Services” and “Online Advertising” sections above may result in the disclosure of your information to our third-party partners and that are subject to these opt out rights. You can opt out of both of these activities by clicking the “Your Privacy Choices” link on our website footer, or to opt out of these disclosures through offline means, please email us at privacy@interos.ai with the subject line “Sale/Share Opt Out Request.” If you have a legally-recognized browser-based opt out mechanism installed on your device (e.g., Global Privacy Control), you will be automatically opted out of these activities. For clarity, we do not “sell” or “share” text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, and we do not share mobile information with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may ask you to provide us with information necessary to reasonably verify your identity before responding to your request. We will consider all requests and provide our response within the time period required by applicable law. Please note, however, that certain information may be exempt from such requests. If you are a resident of Virginia, Rhode Island, Minnesota, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Kentucky, Indiana, Colorado, or Connecticut, and we deny your information request, you have the right to appeal our denial. You can exercise this right by contacting us at privacy@interos.ai. Your description must include your full name and the email address used for your account with us, along with a copy of the denial notice you received from us.

EU/UK residents also have a right to complain to their local data protection authorities. If you have a complaint about how interos.ai uses your personal information, we hope that in the first instance you will contact us and we will promptly address your concern. However, you can always file a complaint with the supervisory authority in your jurisdiction. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority (contact details for data protection authorities in the EEA are available at https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/board/members_en; and contact details for the data protection authority in the UK are available at https://ico.org.uk/).

If you are a Customer End User and your information has been collected by us as a result of a customer’s use of the Services pursuant to a Services Agreement between us and the customer, we collect and process this information under the instructions of the relevant customer, which is the data controller. If these circumstances apply to you and you wish to access, edit, or delete your information, or exercise any rights you may have under applicable data protection laws with respect to any information that we have collected about you on behalf of a customer, please direct your query to the relevant customer, as this may expedite the completion of your request. We nevertheless provide reasonable assistance to our customers to give effect to your request to exercise your rights, as appropriate and required by applicable laws.

Adjust your marketing and communication preferences: You can opt out of our email marketing by following the instructions located at the bottom of our email marketing messages or by contacting us at privacy@interos.ai. Please note, opting out or unsubscribing will not prevent you from receiving communications about product/software updates, or other important notices such as changes to our terms and policies, which are not marketing in nature.

VII. Links To Other Sites

Our Site may include links to other third-party websites as a convenience to you. If you click on one of those links you will be taken to websites we do not control, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites. The inclusion of any link does not imply our endorsement of any other company, its site(s), or its product(s) and/or service(s). interos.ai is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any other site.

Social Media And Plug-Ins: Our Service may use social media plug-ins (e.g., the Meta “Like” button, “Share to X” button) to enable you to easily interact with certain social media websites (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram) and share information with others. When you visit our Service, the operators of the available social media plugins can place a cookie on your device enabling such operators to recognize individuals who have previously visited our Service. If you are logged into these social media websites while visiting our Service, the social media plugins allow the relevant social media websites to receive information that you have visited our Service or other information. The social media plugins also allow the applicable social media websites to disclose information about your activities on our Service with other users of the social media website. For example, Facebook Social Plugins allow Meta to show your “Likes” and comments on our Service to your Facebook friends. Facebook Social Plugins also allow you to see your friends’ Facebook activity on our Service. We do not control any of the content from the social media plugins. We may also interact with you on social media platforms. If you contact us on one of our social media platforms, request services, or otherwise communicate directly with us on social media, we may contact you to interact with you. For more information about social media advertising and social media plugins from other social media websites, please refer to those websites’ privacy and data sharing statements.

VIII. Children

The Site and Services are intended for a general audience and are not intended for use or view by children. If we obtain knowledge that an individual is using the Services that is below the age of applicable consent in their jurisdiction of residence, we will take reasonable steps to delete that individual’s information as soon as practicable.

IX. Information for International Users

If you are visiting or using the Services, or any part thereof, from outside of the United States of America, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored or processed in the United States, where our servers are located and our central database is operated. The data protection and other laws of the United States and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country, but please be assured that we take steps to protect your privacy as detailed in this Privacy Policy.

We take commercially reasonable efforts to protect such information when transferred between countries, such as by entering into certain Standard Contractual Clauses as approved by the European Commission and the Information Commissioner’s Office of the United Kingdom, as appropriate. We have implemented appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable legal requirements to provide adequate protection for personal information transferred from Switzerland, the UK, or the EEA to the United States.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) requires us to provide you with the following additional information about: (1) the purpose for which we use each category of “personal information” (as defined in the CCPA) we collect; and (2) the categories of third parties to which we (a) disclose such personal information for a business purpose, (b) “share” personal information for “cross-context behavioral advertising,” and/or (c) “sell” such personal information. Your Choices Regarding “Sale” and “Sharing”

You have the right to opt out of our sharing/sale of your personal information for purposes of online analytics and advertising by clicking the “Your Privacy Choices” link on our website footer, or to opt out of these disclosures through offline means, please email us at privacy@interos.ai with the subject line “Sale/Share Opt Out Request.” If you have a legally-recognized browser-based opt out mechanism installed on your device (e.g., Global Privacy Control), you will be automatically opted out of these activities.

Over the last 12 months, we have not knowingly “sold” or “shared” personal information of individuals under 16.

Other CCPA Rights

The CCPA also allows you to limit the use or disclosure of your “sensitive personal information” (as defined in the CCPA) if your sensitive personal information is used for certain purposes. Please note that we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information other than for business purposes for which you cannot opt out under the CCPA.

Please see the “Your Rights and Choices” section above for information about the additional rights you have with respect to your personal information under California law and how to exercise them. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these choices.

Notice concerning Do Not Track

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. We are committed to providing you with meaningful choices about the information collected on our websites for third-party purposes, and that is why we provide the variety of opt-out mechanisms listed above. Some web browsers offer users a “Do Not Track” privacy preference setting in the web browser. We do not currently recognize or respond to browser- initiated Do Not Track signals. California “Shine the Light” Notice

The California “Shine the Light” law (§ 1798.83) gives residents of California the right under certain circumstances to opt out of the disclosure of certain categories of personal information (as defined in the Shine the Light law) with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes, or in the alternative, that we provide a cost-free means for consumers to opt out of any such disclosure. We do not currently disclose personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. However, if you are a California resident and you want to opt out of any such disclosures in the future, please email us at privacy@interos.ai with the subject line “Shine the Light Opt Out Request.” “Do Not Track Requests”

XI. Changes to This Privacy Policy

As our organization changes over time, this Privacy Policy may change as well. We reserve the right to amend the Privacy Policy at any time, for any reason, without notice to you, other than the posting of the amended Privacy Policy on our Service. We will provide you notice of material changes by indicating that the Privacy Policy has been updated on our homepage and will indicate the date we made the update above, and comply with any other applicable legal requirements.. Your continued use of the Services after the changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the changes. Please therefore make sure you read any such notice carefully. If you do not wish to continue using the Services under the new version of the policy, please cease using the Services.
